(Happened even in Germany; I was quite flattered.)
#3: Making complex subjects accessible to laymen
(E.g. healthcare, economics. Seems like more needs to be done - one of my young students wanted to deny miners voting rights for central bankers because he thinks central bank policies are too difficult for the former to comprehend.)
